How Are Votiva Treatments Performed?

The first step is a confidential consultation with one of our Votiva providers. During your consultation, you will be able to discuss your symptoms, goals for the procedure, and any questions or concerns you may have. We understand vaginal rejuvenation can be a sensitive topic, so we make every effort to make our patients feel safe and comfortable. Once we determine that Votiva treatments are right for you, we will create a treatment plan and get started.

Votiva treatments with Fractora V and Forma V are performed in the office and are completely comfortable, so there is no need for anesthesia or numbing cream. Both Fractora V and Forma V treatments are administered by specialized handpieces that deliver controlled RF energy to the treatment areas. These handpieces are designed to accommodate your anatomy to be as comfortable and minimally invasive as possible.

You may be treated with one of the devices or both, depending on your treatment plan. The Votiva handpiece will be gently administered around the treatment area: the vulva, labia, and carefully inside the vaginal canal. Most patients experience very little discomfort, only noting a warm sensation from the RF energy. When the device is inside the vagina, your provider will slowly rotate the wand to evenly administer treatment to the internal structures. Treatment usually only takes about 30 minutes.
