What Are Neuromodulator Injections?

How Do They Work?

Neuromodulators affect the relationship between nerve signals and muscles. They interrupt the natural path of a nerve signal, blocking them from reaching their final destination. For example, in terms of signs of aging, this prevents a muscle from contracting, preventing the creation or worsening of a line. When treating hyperhidrosis, this paralyzes the sweat glands. They are unable to produce excessive sweat or odor in the treatment area, but the rest of your body is able to naturally produce sweat to regulate body temperature.
