Regenerative Medicine Update:
Dr. Joshua Crose has received approval for his continued exploration into the treatment of ALS using Mesenchymal Stem Cell Extracellular Vesicles (MSC EVs).
He recently published a case study on a patient with rapidly progressive Spinal ALS with positive results. Under careful guidance from the overseeing Investigative Review Board (IRB), he has obtained approval for his initial Pilot Study investigating SAFETY and EFFICACY of MSC EVs for the treatment of all ALS types. With mounting evidence of the safety of MSC EVs in other clinical trials, Dr. Crose is hopeful that there will be no issues or side effects in treating ALS patients. He plans on advancing his study to a much larger number of patients for a phase II clinical trial that will look at different dosing regimens and effects of MSC EVs for ALS treatment upon the hopeful successful completion of this study.
