How Is BOTOX® Cosmetic Administered?

Prior to your BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment, you will have a comprehensive consultation with one of our experienced cosmetic injectors. During your consultation, your treatment area(s) will be examined, and you can discuss your goals and concerns for the procedure before your technician creates a custom treatment plan that best suits your needs.

Your expert BOTOX® Cosmetic injector may prepare your skin for treatment by removing makeup or lotions from the treatment area. This minimally invasive treatment is comfortable, but you may be given a topical anesthetic to reduce any pain. Then, your expert injector will administer the BOTOX® Cosmetic to precise muscles within your desired treatment area.

Your BOTOX® Cosmetic session may only take a few minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area and the amount of necessary revision. Following treatment, it is advised that you do not rub or massage the site and that you avoid alcohol and blood thinners.

What Are My BOTOX® Cosmetic Options?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is ideal for dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle contractions. It does not treat static wrinkles. Static wrinkles are typically around the mouth, lips, and nose and are caused by a loss of volume in the face. To treat these areas, injectable fillers are ideal and can easily be added to your non-surgical rejuvenation treatment plan.
