What Are Stem Cell Based Therapies?

Stem cell based therapies are a more natural approach to encouraging healing as well as hair growth. The most common form of stem cell therapies use Mesenchymal Stem Cells that can be harvested from fat, bone marrow, placenta, and umbilical cord blood.  Dr. Crose employs the abilities of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, which are extremely diverse cells that act as potent messenger cells for the human body.  These cells provide signals to the body’s own cells on how to behave and to heal itself more effectively.  They provide anti-inflammatory as well as pro-healing cytokines, parakines, hormones, and micro-RNA (cell communicators) to help rebalance your immune system to help it fix yourself.  Dr. Crose has chosen to bypass the use of cells themselves and elected to use EXOSOMES which are the signals from the Stem Cells that are purified and concentrated in a lab using pharmaceutical-level Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).  He does this to ensure the elimination of almost all possible side effects.

What Could I Expect from the Treatment Process?

Most stem cell-based therapies begin with the collection of stem cells from the patient (ie. such as from fat), but Dr. Crose takes this step out of the equation and orders purified Mesenchymal Stem Cell Exosomes delivered to his office.   The patient is prepared for injection of the Exosomes into the specific tissue that is requiring treatment.  Sometimes Lidocaine is used to numb an area if the treatment will be uncomfortable.  Then the Exosomes are thawed and prepared for injection or IV infusion.  The product is delivered to the targeted area and the patient is cleaned up (if needed).  That is it! Quick, simple, effective with almost no downtime.

There is almost no downtime associated with this hair restoration treatment process, and you should be able to resume your normal daily activities. While results will vary for each person, it is important to keep in mind that results will take some time to see or feel (usually 2-12 weeks). Very rarely will a second treatment be required.

Could I Benefit from this Therapeutic Treatment with Mesenchymal Stem Cell Exosomes?

Stem cell based therapies are designed to be a safe and effective treatment method for most individuals who are frustrated with a natural hair loss or a natural decline in hair growth. They are also great at providing alternative therapy for medical conditions (please inquire for more details in person).  Studies have also shown this treatment can be an effective treatment option to help reduce the effects of some types of alopecia and other types of pattern baldness in men and women.

A consultation with Dr. Crose can help you better determine if this therapeutic option is a good fit for you.
